About your role:
Your mission as a Manual Tester is to improve the quality of our product so that our users can have an error free app experience.
Objectives of your role:
Ensure the quality and reliability of our product.
Create and maintain QA process & documentation including test plan, test cases, reporting.
Conduct (free/structured) testing in different environments.
Work with the team to detect any issues as early as possible.
Detect parts of the application that are prone to breaking.
Analyze bugs, testing process, results and implement continuous improvement.
Daily and monthly responsibilities:
Review, analyze product specifications, flows, systems; prepare test plan, manual, automated test cases (freestyle testing will be also part of your duties), execute them and report results in Jira.
Identify bugs, defects, improvements, feature gaps, analyze, report them and openly participate in finding solutions from which customers will gain the most.
Support the development and processing of our product. Work collaboratively with cross-functional teams such as developers, product owners, and technical support team to identify and resolve issues. Help troubleshoot issues.
Meet critical deadlines and deliverables, while maintaining the flexibility needed to ensure the success of the product.
Search, learn, and familiarize yourself with current testing trends. Discover and implement new technologies that yield a competitive advantage.
Collaborate across multiple ethnic cultures via Slack, Jira comments, Confluence documents, and frequent video conferences.

Required skills and qualifications:
2+ years of experience as a tester with mobile applications.
You have meticulous attention to details and how to break things mindset.
Fluent English is a must.
Japanese, Vietnamese/Indonesian (L2 or above) are highly desirable.
You are motivated by the impact that your work has.
Experience working with Jira, testing tools. Experience with automation frameworks like Selenium, JMeter, or similar frameworks would be an advantage.
Familiarity with Agile frameworks.
Experience in testing banking mobile applications would be a huge advantage.
You are a confident communicator. Communicating with teammates, collecting requirements, describing test cases, way of execution, results, demoing work in progress, and providing updates are integral parts of your work.
You have a self-starter mindset: you enjoy working in a fast-paced team where you can take the initiative. You are autonomous and independent, but you also know when to collaborate with the rest of the team.
